Waxing Moon

During the start of my astrophotography journey I used a reflector telescope for all of my imaging. As is the case with most hobbies, I eventually upgraded to a new refracting telescope. They are known for having superior optics and are excellent for planetary and deep space alike. This photo of the moon was my ‘first light’ with the new scope. It is a small stack of 16 photos taken through a Nikon D5300 through a 127mm telescope.
